What is an armband ID strap?

This is a high end strap that can be fitted around your arm snugly. It can hold quite a wide range of standard sizes of ID cards as well, depending on the dimensions. Most manufacturers of armband ID straps can also customize the sizes for you. So you can fit virtually any size of ID badge in the strap. Don't let the quality fool you though, this is still a very affordable ID carrying solution for security personnel and staff at venues. They are even more viable in tactical situations where having a lanyard around your neck is not a safety concious solution. The soft elastic velcro section is also strong enough that it won't fall off but can be cut off in emergency if required.

The convenience of an armband

The ID badge wearer does not have to worry about the card getting entangled with machinery he or she may be operating because it is not being suspended at a length around his neck as you would see with a lanyard or even a clip on id holder.
